Brother vs. Brother

This winter I had the pleasure of styling two of the nicest, funniest, most talented guys on the planet – Jonathan and Drew Scott (otherwise known as the Property Brothers) for their new show on HGTV, Brother vs. Brother. It’s a reality competition series in which each brother leads a team of home improvement experts in adding value to homes. These guys were so fun to work with and they looked pretty smashing, if I do say so myself. I can’t wait to see it all unfold starting this Sunday on HGTV and you can see all kinds of behind the scenes videos on hgtv.com too. So if you like well dressed men doing demo work, set your DVR’s! My job could be worse.

  1. Dude I definitely subconsciously noticed how well dressed they looked in those promos. I like The Property Brothers, not sure why I didn’t set the new show to record. Will have to catch a rerun. I think what really clinched my interest was a brief promo during the finale of HGTV Star in which one of them said something to the effect of “Brother vs. Brother is everything you want to see on The Property Brothers times a million.” Alrighty then!

    1. Another fake design show. In some episodes you can even see the real construction workers mistakenly included in the footage. Time for HGTV and design TV in general to get real. Renovate a whole house, by 3 people in4 days? C’mon! No wonder HGTV is flailing and failing. Get real. Real projects, real pros, real product and sources, show all the others on set working on the project. The “big reveal” concept is boring. Time to ramp it up.
