When my sweet friend and fellow stylist Jen Pinkston asked me to share some outfit photos in the Her Style series on her amazing blog The Effortless Chic, I thought to myself “make it a good one, don’t mess this up.” Not only because I love her blog and wanted to rise to the occasion, but also because when you show up somewhere for the first time, you gotta give an intro to who you are – and what better way to do that than with your outfit?  So I made it a point to put together the most quintessentially Catherine ensemble I could find, and this is what I came up with. It’s comprised of all pieces that just HAD to be mine come hell or high water – including the Helmut Lang blazer I stalked for 0ver a year, the perfect waxed black skinny jean (also Helmut Lang – the best part? They are nice and long), and these All Saints buckle boots that practically had a glowing halo over them when I saw them for the first time in the store. I was excited to snag this Margiela for H&M candy wrapper clutch (details about that here), which makes a fun new addition to my wardrobe and feels right at home. Each of these are in constant rotation with all sorts of combinations with the rest of my closet. Hop on over to The Effortless Chic to see more photos and read the interview. Thanks so much for having me, Jen! It was a pleasure.
