I have a confession to make: I live five minutes away from the beach and I hardly ever go. I feel weird admitting it because those of us who live near a coast are so lucky to have such beauty around us and it’s important not to take it for granted. But the honest truth is that I’m not much of a beach person unless I’m on vacation in a secluded tropical location with some sort of coconut drink in my hand. Whenever I get the opportunity to take a weekend outside of the city, I tend to find myself in the desert (what can I say, I like a dry heat). But for some reason, this vintage sequin top seemed to be pulling towards the ocean at sunset and I just couldn’t resist. Even though its long sleeves probably make it a better fit for colder months, the pink and gold sparkly color combo made it feel so right for summer when paired with white cutoffs and sandals, which I promptly kicked of as soon as my feet touched the sand.
