Summer’s End

The last weekend of summer doesn’t make me sad. Labor Day always marks the beginning of my favorite time year, so I have no complaints. I may not be one to look back longingly when September arrives, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy a nice long weekend whenever I can get one. Mine consisted of leisurely errands to prep for my trip to NYC this week, a few yummy dinners with the hubby, and a BBQ with friends in Santa Monica. As much as I am looking forward to a week in New York with carefully planned outfits, there’s something so comforting about the days when anything but a t-shirt and ripped jeans would be overdressed.

Zara top and jeans, Cole Haan sandals (old but these are even cuter), Carrera sunglasses, Rebecca Minkoff bag, Name necklace (similar), Michael Kors watch, Bracelets: Forever 21, H&M, Madewell, J.Crew
