I think we can all agree that the whole no white after Labor Day rule is a thing of the past. Sure, white is a summery neutral, but I mean... it's white. It's about the most basic color out there, right next to black. How can we take something so huge off the table for 3/4 of the year? Plus, it's not always clear when summer really ends, especially in LA where September tends to be the hottest month of the year. I don't know about you but there's no way I'm packing away my whites just yet - and probably not ever. We're all smart girls, aren't we? We can figure out how to wear white differently during the colder months. For a few more weeks it's still acceptable to really drive it home, but as fall sets in, pick a star white piece and anchor it with darker colors and heavier textures and you'll be looking fresh and ready for fall.
